Engine 3034 has been on the Dixie Fire for nearly 2 weeks. Earlier this week they were recalled from a rest day as an “Immediate Need” to Milford for structure protection. They subsequently worked 48 hours straight. Here is some video of what they encountered.

Training on our new OES Type 6 Engine tonight. This engine comes complete with a full set of vehicle extrication equipment or “Jaws Of Life”. These are Hurst battery powered tools matching what we currently have. This Engine will be used locally and throughout the state on large scale incidents including wildfires, floods and earthquakes.
